Challenges
Creating a new web interface for Clicktivated’s platform has been an intricate and challenging endeavor. Clicktivated’s platform stands out by transforming any video, whether new or existing, into an interactive experience. This means viewers can instantly engage with any object, experience, or location within the video to learn more or make a purchase. Our goal was to design an interface that caters to both platform managers and clients, each with distinct needs and access requirements.
For platform managers, the challenge was to design an interface that provides comprehensive access and control over the platform’s functionalities. Managers require a robust administrative panel to oversee and manage the creation of interactive video experiences. This includes setting up interactive elements, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring the smooth operation of the platform. The interface needed to be intuitive yet powerful, enabling managers to easily navigate through various settings and make real-time adjustments.
On the other hand, clients needed an interface that delivers data and performance insights in a user-friendly format. Clients interact with the platform to monitor how their interactive videos are performing, track engagement metrics, and assess the effectiveness of their campaigns. The design had to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner, helping clients make informed decisions without overwhelming them with technical details.
Designing an interactive player for Clicktivated was a unique and rewarding challenge. The goal was to create a seamless and user-friendly experience that transforms any new or existing video into an interactive journey. This player allows viewers to instantly interact with any object, experience, or location featured in the video, providing them with more information or the opportunity to make a purchase directly from the video itself.
One of the key challenges was ensuring that the player could handle the variety of content types and styles that users might upload, while maintaining a smooth and engaging user experience. We focused on building a responsive and intuitive interface that would work flawlessly across different devices and screen sizes.
